About this policy
This policy explains what types of personal information will be gathered when you visit the MMTECH website, how this information will be used as well as your rights under the Data Protection Act.
The MMTECH website is composed of a members' registered area for partners of the MMTECH project, and a public area in which to enable dissemination of the publically available information relating to the project.
As a public visitor, you will not be required to provide any personal information.
Registered members will be asked to provide some limited personal information in order to enable the provision of certain services (e.g. to confirm their identity and allow allocation to the secure members' area). This information is stored electronically. By supplying this information you are consenting to the MMTECH project holding and using it for the purposes for which it was provided. Information provided will be kept for as long as is necessary to fulfil that purpose.
We will only use your data for the purpose for which it was collected, to enable us to administer processes and provide membership services. We will retain your data for 7 years following the end of the project OR until the finalisation of the project and the removal of the website.
We only use 'strictly necessary cookies': these are essential in order to enable you to move around the website and use its features. For those partner members that have been invited to register, without these cookies the services you have asked for, such as registering for an account, cannot be provided.

Access to information
The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information held about you.
As official MMTECH members, you must have first been invited to register. You have, as an MMTECH member, Individual Rights under the Data Protection act 2018:

- To object to the processing of your personal data
- Restrict the processing of your personal data
- To rectify your personal data
- To erase your personal data
